How did Beetleguy Oddities begin?
Crafting has always been a passion of Jessica’s (my wife). She is the true mastermind behind all creations. We decided to make it a full time gig back in 2019 creating products that were more aimed towards the witchy community. Fast forward a year and we added taxidermy pieces which really opened up a whole new world of likeminded people who love our art.
Please tell us about your Mystery Beetles!
With mystery products on the rise, we have an abundance of mystery products from small bags to boxes and even insects!! Clients rave about our packaging and the large selection of products to collect.
Your store contains all kinds of different oddities. Are there any oddities you *don't* yet have?
Yes actually! We’re looking into starting taxidermy mounts! We’re so stoked to start mounting and offering our mystical creatures for others to collect! We’re also looking to expand our wet specimen selection with bigger options in uniquely collected jars.
What is the most notable feedback you've received from a customer?
I number 1 thing…. Well 2 things we hear the most are, #1 you have such clean work. When it comes to our taxidermy pieces we definitely hear that the most! How realistic and overall how “clean” and precise our work is done... and #2 “CUTE”! Lol, we make a lot of custom
ducklings and other small taxidermy that is aimed towards being… well… CUTE! I think the lifelike stance we create really makes even the most “normal” type of person want to collect our strange and unusual art.
