What inspired you to become an artist?
It thrills me to see how amazing the colors look, shade and blend together. It calms me to keep my focus sharp on the painting. I´m a graphic designer and photographer as well. Soooo, all my life is about art and creating beautiful visuals.
Who is your favorite Super Mario character?
I love all of them. I grew up playing Mario Bros. All Stars soooo much on SNES. I also love to listen to Super Mario Bros. LoFi Music while painting. That's totally inspiring and relaxing to me. … but I really like Princess Peach :D
Please tell us about your wood art; what goes into creating a detailed wood painting?
I like to experiment a lot, so I tried to paint on wood and it turned out super amazing. The colors look dope and the structure of the wood is also unique and beautiful.
What is the most challenging piece of artwork you've ever done?
Thank you for your well picked questions. The one that took the most time was definitely a large painting on a huge wooden door. It is painted on the full door and it took very long to create that one. I also added golden paint, which is kinda symbolic for work of mine. I love gold so much and you´ll find gold in many of my paintings.
