Chloe’s fairytale-worthy mane is truly a sight to behold. In this interview, her mum shares the story behind her hair and their hopes for the future.

Chloe has been growing her hair since birth, and it now reaches to her ankles. That is incredible. Does Chloe have a special haircare routine that has helped in achieving this dream?
Nothing too special to be honest, she does a really good wash which includes double shampoo and a lot of conditioner to keep it hydrated and tangle free. We think all the nutrients Chloe ingests goes to her hair to keep it growing healthy and long.

Is the ultimate goal to reach the floor... or to the world record of longest hair?
We are hoping to reach the floor, the challenge we have is that as her hair grows so do her legs at the moment lol. Achieving the world record, even for the longest kids hair will be amazing too!

What style of dance does Chloe practice?
Chloe is very passionate about her dancing and does a few styles including ballet, lyrical, acro and jazz. Her favourite style is Ballet so that’s the focus for this year (and of course one of the hardest with mastering a bun with all that hair).

Please tell us about the House Down Under you recently visited. The photo shoots look pretty amazing!
It was a really cool experience. They have built a house literally upside down. As you walk through it’s quite surreal to see, and the upstairs area actually makes you a little dizzy (they warn you before going up and it’s crazy how it hits you). The photos were great, some things looked like you were actually hanging upside down.

Are there any day-to-day challenges that come with having Rapunzel hair, at home or at school or in other settings? What advice would you and Chloe offer to young girls who aspire to grow their hair?
Haha yes there can be some challenges. One being Chloe often sits on her hair — so she has to adjust it, which she has mastered now. The routine for school is easy, it’s always in a plait and tucked up so it isn’t in the way. Our advice is if you want to grow it, do it! Don’t let anyone tell you your hair is too long. You have to be patient, and give it time to grow, and you have to love the process of caring for it. Everyone says how healthy her hair is even though it’s never been cut from birth — she still has her baby hair on the ends from how well she has cared for it and genuine loves it.
