In your bio, you tell of how you both fell in love with drawing animals at a young age. What gave you the idea, growing up, to turn the passion of art into a business?
Our father was an amazing artist but was never allowed to fulfill his dream as his parents felt that being a cartoonist was not a proper job, and he was forced to work in his father's butcher shop instead. I always remember seeing my fathers pictures on the wall, and they were astonishing.
One evening he took us to see The Lion King and Sophia and I were blown away by this film, so we started drawing our own comics and pictures of Simba and Mufasa. We would spend our evenings drawing for hours and hours and get totally lost in our art that we wouldn't even realize the time. Those moments where you are lost in your work are perfect, every thought, every move you make with your hand and watching your art piece grow in front of you.
What is your favorite Disney animated movie?

What is the most inspirational feedback you've received from a customer?
We drew a portrait of a customer proposing to his partner with his dog and he used this to proposed to his now fiancé! He emailed us after the successful proposal thanking us because this was something he wanted to ask his partner for a long time but was unable to put his thoughts into words. But the canvas had done this perfectly for him!
Please tell us about your own furry companions! (:
Sallie "I am inspired by the happy nature of my dog, Zeus and LOVE the fact that I can capture each pet's unique personality into my portraits."
