When did you first start performing, and what were those early experiences like for you?
I've performed for my family at home and in church my whole life. When I was eleven, I had my first live shows with a combination of original songs and cover songs in different genres. I was nervous to perform in front of a crowd, but once my dad started playing guitar, I was able to relax and get into the music pretty quickly. Everyone watching was encouraging, which made it easier to perform and have fun.

Christian rock and pop music often blend personal expression with messages of faith and hope. What drew you to this style of music, and why does it feel like the right fit for you as an artist?
I am a Christian artist because I do not sing for myself. This genre allows me to share the message that Jesus loves us all. It also gives me the opportunity to influence people to follow Him. I was drawn to rock and pop music because these genres are energetic and get my adrenaline pumping, which makes performing them exciting. They also fit the way I naturally sing and move my voice.

Your debut single, "See Me," feels very heartfelt and personal. Can you tell us the story behind the song and what inspired you to write it?
"See Me" tells the story of how, as a child, I felt alone and unseen by God, but as time went on, I realized I was seen and loved by God. I’d love for anyone who hears “See Me” and connects with feeling alone to know they’re not the only ones who feel that way. You’re seen by God, and you were never actually alone. When the time came to release my first single, "See Me" was the best song to introduce myself as an artist and my story as a person.

From writing the lyrics to recording the final track, creating a song takes a lot of dedication and teamwork. Can you walk us through the process of bringing "See Me" to life?
The song, "See Me" was formed from a conversation with my dad. We were talking about when I began believing in Christ. Since we're both writers, he turned my conversion story into a poem. From there, we worked together to turn this poem into a song, developing the verses, melody line, and music. My dad's experience recording and creating music, along with a home studio, made bringing "See Me" to life a family effort. My dad recorded every instrument, my lead vocals, his background vocals, and my background vocals. We collaborated throughout the production process to make sure every piece of the final song was just right.
